In the Year 12 Service and Leadership session this week, our Maths teacher Mr Chapman spoke to students about his 22 years experience of working within the Royal Air Force. Over the years he worked in various roles including intelligence and being on the front line. Students were fascinated by his experiences and ‘Have you ever killed anyone Sir?’ was just one of the many questions he was asked. Students got a real insight into what it is like to work in such a challenging but rewarding role. Other topics covered were his views on what makes a good leader and what it is like to fly in a Tornado jet.
