Year 12 took part in an Inter-house Spelling Bee this week, as part of their Service and Leadership enrichment. We certainly saw the competitive side of our students, with vocal support from the audience for representatives of their house. Contestants were challenged by words of increasing difficulty, including: pirouette, aspidistra, and a posteriori.  Zinnia (Strand) was eventually crowned 2017 Champion, having survived three qualifying knock-out rounds and being the last contestant standing in a heated final.
