This week in our Year 12 Service and Leadership session, we welcomed two external speakers to the Academy to debate the motion ‘This house believes that Brexit is the best way forward for the UK’.
Dermot Kealey, a social worker dealing with South London gangs, came to speak to Wren Year 12s, as part of our weekly Service and Leadership Hour.
Year 12s and 13s are supporting our Year 11s as their mocks and GCSEs approach. Volunteers are mentoring students who feel they needed an older student to explain how they dealt with the stresses of Year 11.
In the Year 12 Service and Leadership session this week, our Maths teacher Mr Chapman spoke to students about his 22 years experience of working within the Royal Air Force.
